I recently stayed at a cheap and comfortable guesthouse in Thakhek. The hosts were lovely and spoke good English. The rooms were decent for the price, especially for a short stay. They had a communal water refill station and tea/coffee area. The compound was spacious and well-organized, with tables, hammocks, and seating available. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, even dropping us off at the van station and ensuring we boarded the right one. Thank you for hosting us!
